ADDS Services

Support Coordination

Working closely with individuals and their families, ADDS support coordinators assess, plan and implement the necessary supports that allow individuals in the community to reach their personal goals. Coordinators also work with applicants and the state to determine eligibility and funding support. Support coordinators monitor and evaluate all programs to ensure the highest quality support is provided to everyone.

Independent Supported Living

Because we believe that individuals with developmental disabilities have the right to lead lives that are home- and community-based, our Independent Supported Living households foster an environment of encouragement, personal choices and social interaction in neighborhoods throughout the community. Each home has 24-hour supervision and support.

Residential Homes

With 24-hour support and supervision, our residential homes and apartments offer inclusive opportunities for social interaction, activities of daily living, individual goal fulfillment and community integration. As in all ADDS homes, everyone served has a private room as well as access to transportation, nursing care and individual support for a complete and fulfilling life both at home and in the community.

Developmental Training Center

The Developmental Training Center is a day program for persons with developmental disabilities. Open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, our services are designed to assist individuals in reaching their optimal physical, emotional, and independent functioning through social activities, learning opportunities, volunteering, community engagement, healthy living choices and the pursuit of individual goals.

Registered Nurse

Individuals residing in ADDS Residential Group Homes and Independent Supported Living Homes (ISLs) have access to a licensed and qualified registered nurse for assistance with basic prevention-and-treatment healthcare services, medication compliance and health education.

Respite Care

Respite care is available on a case-by-case basis as temporary relief for parents/caregivers. Depending on the situation and the individual’s care needs, assistance may be available at ADDS residential homes for anywhere from a few hours to 24-hour respite services.

Community-Based Services

ADDS community-based services are designed to assist individuals with developmental disabilities with achieving their goals of independent living. Some services provided to natural homes are transportation, community integration, meal planning, grocery shopping assistance, guidance in making informed choices, and assistance with medical appointments. This service ranges from a few hours a week to daily assistance.
